1. Call or email Sine Trading Intl with shipment details for free quote.

2. Accept quote and complete provided Power of Attorney papers.

• Power of Attorney papers are required by U.S. Customs Brokers to transact on your behalf.

3. Sine requests necessary documents shared from your partner manufacturer or product supplier to clear customs on your behalf.

• Importer Security Filing (ISF) -- Required only for US ocean imports. Filed 48 hours before shipment exported to US shores.
• Commercial Invoice of Products -- Includes parties involved in shipment, goods transported, source of manufacturer, harmonized system code.
• Bill of Lading (BOL) -- Evidence of contract and document of title to the goods for ocean imports.
• Air Waybill (AWB) -- Evidence of contract and document of title to the goods for air imports.

• Forward updates on status of shipment. Available to answer questions or provide niche requests.

5. Sine Trading finalizes customs declaration to submit to Customs & Border protection's secure online portal.

6. On submission, Sine Trading Intl pays duties and invoice. Partner is invoiced with detailed receipt. And delivery order (DO) is provided after payment.

• Delivery Order (DO) -- Document from agent of freight carrier which orders the release of the transportation of cargo to another party.

“The Des Minimis value threshold is the maximum monetary value of a shipment that can be imported into a country duty and tax free. On February 24, 2016, the de minimis value was raised from $200 to $800” – Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee Government Issue Paper: Section 321.

For eCommerce sellers, customs brokers, and government agents, online retail has brought about differing sets of challenges. The rise of des minimis from $200 to $800 was done in part to control the influx of eCommerce small packages to U.S. customs centers. Logistics has morphed into a game of time management. Federal government intervention of increasing the des minimis did have immediate impact on the logistics issues private enterprises were facing by removing the need for formal entry or duty-fees. Reducing time to delivery for millions of goods a day.

Section 321 imports decreased clearance time of the logistics chain; but what about delivery time? Sine Trading International, and/or other third-party warehouses can seek designation from CBP to become a Express Consignment Carrier Facility (ECCF). Opinion: Exposure in Australia?

Australia has been pursuing monetary stimulus due to contracting of the 'Down Under Economy.' In part to the governing party's obsession of running a government surplus. Which dependent on source of media, is a positive or negative for the economy of Australia.

To the Reserve Bank of Australia, in the current economic climate, this is poor policy. As the rate on reserves has been lowered three times in five months to stimulate growth on the island nation. The reasoning behind this is the Reserve Bank is attempting to stabilize inflation and maximize unemployment for the economic prosperity and welfare of the Australian people. The Reserve Bank of Australia's Chairman Lowe expressed willingness to lower rates further should downside risks continue.

This is likely to occur as Australia is growing at its slowest rate since the Global Financial Crisis at the end of the last decade. With unemployment and inflation well below the Reserve Bank of Australia's independent mandate. Sine Trading International's market research team suggests further monetary stimulus to occur through reduced rate on reserves to 0.50%. To the international trade community, this action will further weaken the AUD, benefiting their export sectors. Sine suggests our business affiliates look to invest in Australia.

With chances for future fiscal stimulus, a responsive Reserve Bank, and ongoing reassessment of the global supply chain. Australia is a market to enter today, for tomorrow.
